Costuming My Bliss

Corsets are beautiful things.  If you've ever taken the time to look through some of the museum collections, you'll have seen an amazing variety in shapes, colors and decorations.  If  you're as crazy as me, you'll probably have spent time cruising google patents and found an overwhelming number of "improvements".  You'll find another great list of patents here.

The point of all this rambling? If you haven't guessed, it's to share with you the saga of my Victorian corset.

The pattern is self drafted, using the excelent instructions over at Your Wardrobe Unlock'd.  If you're not already a subscriber, I highly recomend you become one!  It's worth every penny!

Now we come to the part where you get to point and laugh at my first attempt at this beautiful artform.
