Costuming My Bliss

While thrift store shopping for something else entirely, I came across 2 pairs shoes that I thought would be perfect for recovering a la the instruction on Your Wardrobe Unlock'd.  The original plan was to make them into 18th century shoes.  Seeing as how I was working on the 1893 Empire Gown at the time, I got the idea to turn one pair into boots!  I would, after all, need boots to finish off the ensemble, and being the cheep skate that I am, well.....
