Costuming My Bliss

Once upon a time, a Little Princess needed a frock to wear to the Faire.  It had to be practical, for she would be sitting on the ground, and running wild, but it had to be cute, 'cause let's face it, so was she!

I based the design loosely on a 15th century Florentine gamurra, minus the sleeves.

A little more about the dress.  It started as a pinafore pattern, that I heavily modifies.  Made of pink linen, with a white muslin smock.  The smock was made using the Elizabethan Smock Generator.  It laces up the front using the spiral lace pattern.
